The RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy trains Police Officers of and above the rank of Sub-Inspectors including Gazetted Officers (DySsP), Forensic Scientists, Addl. /Asst. Public Prosecutors and Officers from other departments i.e., Customs & Excise, Motor Vehicle Inspectors, Forest Range Officers from Telangana State and other States on request. The Academy also conducts In-service training like Mandatory courses, Training of Trainers courses, Orientation courses, Thematic courses, Conversion courses, Computer courses, Outdoor courses (PT, Weapon Training) Ministerial Staff courses and Seminars/Workshops on topical subjects.

Important Posts held: Appointed as directly recruited DSP on 09-06-1994. Worked as SDPO, Amalapuram, East Godavari District and rendered yeoman services during cyclone which swept entire Konaseema killing many people and also worked as DSP, Balanagar, R.R.District in 1999– 2001. After promoted as Addl.SP, worked as Addl.SP (Admn), Guntur District 2001-2002. Worked as OSD Medak District in 2002 – 2004. Worked as OSD during Godavari Pushkarulu in 2003. Went on UN Peace Keeping Mission, Kosovo (UNMIK) in 2004 - 2005. After promotion, sir worked as Jt. Director, ACB in 2005 – 2012. Worked as DCP (Traffic) Balanagar during 2012-14. Worked as DCP (Traffic), Shamshabad Zone during 2014 – 2016. Worked as DCP (Traffic) 2016 – 2018). After promotion as DIG, held HFAC, DCP, West Zone in 2018 – 2022. Promoted as IGP and posted as Addl. C.P. (Crime & SIT) supervised the investigation of many sensational cases during 2022 – 23. Worked as Director, ACB - 2023 Presently he posted as Addl. Director, TSPA and holding HFAC, Director, TSPA since October 16-10-2023. Medals Received: For his good and hard work, he received the Following Medals: Awarded Police Seva Pathkam on the occasion of Ugadi in the year 2010. Awarded UN Peace Keeping Medal in the year 2005 for working at Kosovo in the United Nations. Awarded Indian Police Medal in 2021.
