The Academy is headed by a Director, an IPS Officer of the rank of Addl Director General of Police and assisted by 1 Joint Director of the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police, 7 Deputy Directors of the rank of 3 IPS and 4 SP(Non-Cadre) and  Assistant Directors.
