As part of social responsibility the RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy, under the guidance of Dr. Ish Kumar, IPS, Director, TSPA has adopted a Govt. Primary School situated in the Harijanawada of Aziznagar Village, Rajendranagar Mandal, R.R.District from one year. On conducting a survey in Aziznagar Village, it was found that this School which is a Coeducation one, with 64 Students studying children and most of them are poor background. This particular School is lacking all the basic facilities like
School Furniture, Cooking Shed, Drinking facility and Toilets etc. Having taken decision of adopting this School, the Officers of TSPA contacted Village Sarpanch Smt. Mangali Manga and other village elders, parents and with their support the school adoption programme was given initial momentum today i.e., on 26-3-2016 with Shramdanam by clearing bushes and cleaning entire surroundings of the School.
About 40 In-Service Trainees who are undergoing Courses in TSPA from various Districts of Telangana State and 12 Police Officers of TSPA led by Sri B. Anantha Sharma, IPS, Dy. Director have participated in the Shramadanam. The programme will be continued in a phased manner by involving the parents, village elders etc., for making it a Model School. The Academy also decided to provide the basic amenities in a phased manner. It is also decided to organize a Medical Camps to the Children studying in this School by Unit Medical Officer of TSPA.
